Ronald Mutchnik, violin

Ronald Mutchnik, concert-master of the Bach Concert Series Orchestra, is also the founder and conductor of the Howard County Concert Orchestra, the concertmaster of the Columbia Pro Cantare Festival Orchestra, and the assistant concertmaster of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra. He is also the founder of the chamber music series Sundays at Three in Columbia, MD. Mr. Mutchnik has been teaching violin for over 40 years and received his master’s degree from the New England Conservatory of Music studying with the eminent Joseph Gingold. He recently received the Howie Award for Outstanding Artist of the Year and was twice the recipient of the MD/DC Chapter of the American String Teacher’s Association Teacher of the Year Award.
