Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 4 in D major, BWV 1069 is a vibrant and majestic work featuring a rich array of dance movements. Its grand opening “Ouverture” and lively “Rejouissance” highlight Bach’s masterful orchestration, showcasing festive and intricate Baroque textures.

We continue with Albinoni’s Oboe Concerto in D minor, Op. 9, No. 2. This concerto, with its lush orchestration and virtuosic oboe lines, exhibits Albinoni’s mastery in balancing expressive solo passages with rich orchestral textures. We end this concert with a Bach Cantata; Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott; a cornerstone of Baroque sacred music.
