INFORMATION ABOUT UNIFORMS
For the October 6, January 6 & March 1 Concerts, each singer should wear UNIFORM A: either black trousers, a long-sleeve white shirt and the Bach Choir tie—or—our choir ‘red tunic’ with black trousers or skirt. Our ‘red tunic’ is available for purchase online.
For the December 7/8 and May 3 Concerts, we will wear UNIFORM C: formal clothes: a tuxedo, white shirt and a black bow tie—or—all black trousers & blouse (or long black skirt).
For our Community Service Concerts (mostly in May and June), we will wear UNIFORM B: everyone will wear a white shirt with black trousers—or—a white shirt with a black skirt.
Note that a black suit, white shirt and black bow tie is an acceptable alternative to a tux. Those who wear a blouse are encouraged to also wear an 18” to 24” strand of white pearls. Concert etiquette dictates that fragrances or other scented products never be worn at concerts or rehearsals. Wear comfortable shoes. (Your feet cannot be seen from the audience.) Singers must place their music in a black folder (Bach in Baltimore has them available for purchase, if you need one.)
