Health and Safety Update Regarding COVID-19

March 30, 2020

Dear Friends of Bach in Baltimore,

We have been carefully watching the news and reviewing the recommended precautions concerning COVID-19. In light of the current states of emergency on both national and state levels, and in order to mitigate any risk to our patrons, musicians, volunteers, and greater community, we have made the decision to CANCEL our B Minor Mass Concert on May 3 and our Oboe Lover’s Concert on May 24. We have also moved our BachFest Silent Auction ONLINE.

For right now, our final concert of the season– the Summer Sunset Instrumental Concert on June 7–remains tentatively on the calendar. However, we encourage our patrons to regularly check our website and social media for more updates and information as time progresses.

We would also strongly encourage you in these unprecedented times to consider giving a special contribution to Bach in Baltimore. Times such as these pose a very real financial threat to musicians and artists across the board, as well as the local non-profit arts organizations that support them. YOUR support during these challenging times goes further than you know–so consider donating today for the sake of meaningful and much-needed art tomorrow!

Lastly, we will be contacting all Bach in Baltimore Season Pass and ticket holders in order to provide them with alternative concert solutions. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Stay safe, Baltimore!
