Jason Gonzalez, tenor, is from Santa Barbara, CA and recently received a Master of Music in Voice Performancefrom the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. He now resides in Baltimore and sings with the Washington Concert Opera and Wolf Trap Opera choruses. While pursuing his master’s degree, Mr. Gonzalez studied with baritone Randall Scarlata, and had the great opportunity to perform the roles of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Miles Zegner in Proving Up, Alfred in Die Fledermaus, and the tenor solo in Joel Puckett’s This Mourning. Previously, he sang with Opera Saratoga, covering the role of Ernesto in Don Pasquale and singing in their world-premiere opera, The Selfish Giant.
