Abby Sherman is a cross-genre mezzo soprano and teaching artist. Most recently, she performed as Sesto in the Peabody Institute’s La clemenza di Tito. Other credits include: L’Enfant, L’enfant et les sortilèges; Robert Schumann, The Classical Style, an opera of sorts; Nada, Svadba; and as an ensemble member for Music On Site Inc.’s touring production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Beyond her performances, Abby teaches private voice and early childhood music classes with the Patterson Park Academy of Music. She holds a B.A. in music, theatre, and psychology from Muhlenberg College, and is a recent graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University with her Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.
