Mezzo-soprano Kaylee Parker, praised as “golden-voiced” and having “ringing chiaroscuro” (Washington Classical Review), performs with several ensembles on the east coast including the Washington National Cathedral Choir, The Thirteen, the Baltimore Basilica Schola Cantorum, Washington Master Chorale, Chantry, Pitch Craft, Mind on Fire, Choral Chameleon in New York City, and the Emmanuel Choir where she is a member of the professional liturgical ensemble. She is a founding member of the vocal quartet, Anchorites. Before expanding her singing career, Kaylee taught elementary and middle school music for five years in El Monte, California and Baltimore City. She holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from California State University, Long Beach and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of North Dakota.
