Daniel Parsley serves as Director of Choral Activities and Graduate Conducting Programs at Boston University School of Music, where he leads both the university’s choral ensembles and orchestras and teaches graduate conducting and choral literature. An internationally in-demand conductor and educator, he is Associate Conductor of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra – SummerMusik and Principal Conductor for the GRAMMY® Award-winning National Children’s Chorus. He recently was assistant conductor and choral conducting fellow for the Cincinnati May Festival, where he prepared choruses for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Cincinnati Pops. Recent guest conducting includes engagements with the Portland Symphony Orchestra (ME), ISSEA Choral festival (Nairobi, Kenya), the Fingal Festival of Voices (Ireland), Coro Volante (Cincinnati), and the Seraphim Singers (Boston) as well as teaching residencies at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (DE), Universität Mozarteum Salzburg (AT), Conservatoire de Strasbourg (FR), and the National University of Ireland at Maynooth (IE.)
