Experience the power and drama of Handel’s monumental oratorio Saul, one of the composer’s greatest masterpieces. Based on the biblical story of Israel’s first king and his growing jealousy of David, the work explores ambition, faith, triumph, and tragedy through brilliant choruses, expressive arias, and vivid orchestral writing. From David’s victory over Goliath to Saul’s tragic downfall, this gripping musical drama remains one of the Baroque era’s most compelling achievements and a masterpiece of storytelling.

With the Participation of Anne Arundel Community College Choir. Handel’s dramatic and groundbreaking oratorio about King Saul, the first king of Israel, and the consequences of his jealousy towards his successor, David.
