Bach in Baltimore concludes its 39th season with a festive celebration featuring Handel’s beloved Water Music and Bach’s joyful Cantata 129. Written for King George I’s royal excursion on the River Thames, Water Music sparkles with elegant dances, ceremonial grandeur, and irresistible energy. Bach’s cantata offers radiant choruses, uplifting melodies, and a message of praise and thanksgiving, complemented by a featured aria from Cantata 170 sung by audience favorite Kristen Dubenion-Smith. Join us for a joyful season finale celebrating the enduring brilliance of Bach and Handel.
